It's one of the most known property of Farnese family in Viterbo area. The Farnese family is an influential family in Renaissance Italy. Take a look at it when you are in Caprarola or Ronciglione.

Massive villa dominating the landscape. I truly enjoyed vast gardens, in particular, the upper terrace with Casino and a spectacular water-staircase.

Very interesting and impressive Palazzo but quite a long walk back to the car park. Gardens are also uphill! Again a guidebook would be handy. Half a day is probably enough time here.

Hi, an hour and a half, in my opinion for Villa Lante and Villa Farnese, nice bar accriss from Villa Farnese to meet up in, larger thsn it looke, the bar that is!

Think we paid around 5 Euro for 2 senior tickets.. Not expensive for the visit and well worth the money..
