Small museum dedicated to the French WW2 resistance. There is a minimal display downstairs and quite a good exhibition hall upstairs. There is a better museum further north, but the less polished displays here do tell the story with real feeling of the local men...More

This museum brings to life the history of the Resistance in the Vassieux region. It is a very moving and poignant tribute. The museum itself is very modern and bright, audio guides are available in many languages. Well worth a visit.

a real eye opener as Vecors was the centre of the last French resistance fighters I had no idea how important this area was in the eventual defeat of the invading German forces

Smallish museum but it was created by one of the "actors" of the drama that took place there which makes it all the more valuable and touching.
