Great place to visit to learn more about the German army's seven large forts. There are many interesting displays including one of only two remaining K5 rail guns.

We enjoyed our visit to the Batterie. We got around at a steady pace in about 90 minutes. Seeing as the visit was brief the entrance fee was quite expensive. However as the museum gets no government support and as none of the other Batteries...More

All the north coast of France, West from Calais is littered with small and bigger bunkers, strongholds, shooting stations. Batterie Todt is small museum located in real bunker, build by Todd Organisation. All this you can see and experience on site. Highly recommended place on...More

Batterie Todt isn’t your typical modern museum. It’s a hulking mass of concrete that’s been weather beaten for almost 75 years and yet, architecturally it is jaw-dropping. It’s meaning and power are as rock solid today as day it was in day one. The might...More

This impressive fort is just off the main road and is well worth a visit. The displays are good and the accompanying info is short but informative and interesting. My 7 & 9 year olds enjoyed it, there is a very small shop and some...More

I only with the big gun was still here. They tell me most were disassembled and used for scrap after the war, only the bunkers remain. This one has a huge cannon sitting along side of the bunker and lot of memories inside. Well done!

Run entirely by volunteers, this piece of the Atlantik Wall has been preserved to teach what was and should not be repeated. Expect to spend about 40 minutes here right from the amazing sight of the railroad gun not much unlike the one that actually...More

What an excellent museum of the coast defences with an immense gun mounted on a railway track nect to the batterie. Very surprisingly, a private museum. They have amassed an extraordinary amount of information, not only on the Nazi defences against a British invasion across...More

The Todt battery is one of 4 WW2 gun emplacements in the area and the only one that has survived. If you look through the nearby forest, you can see another one blown up and rotting away. The museum is quite small, you can cover...More

If you are in the Calais area this privately owned museum is well worth a visit. As other TA reviewers have stated outside the massive battery, the K5 Railway Gun is an interesting exhibit along with other defences the Germans installed along the Atlantic Wall....More
