- Sharon F.7 contributionsLazy Staff Means Dirty BathroomsThe place continues to be amazing every time we visit BUT.....in every hotel (Coral, Royal) both inside the hotel and outside near the pool areas every bathroom is TERRIBLE. Updates are needed pronto! At 2 of the bathrooms staff were standing inside near the sinks and fixing their braids upon entering and when leaving the bathroom. Instead of just standing around why weren't they wiping up the sink area, cleaning off the accumulated dust in the slats of the bathroom doors, picking up items left on the floor. Why pay these employees when they're not doing anything but hanging around? I can see why tourists are so mad about the included 15% tip because some of the employees of Atlantis don't give a dam.Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 23, 2023
- Terese333New Jersey157 contributionsNice to be able to breathe easy, finally! It's amazing what a difference a friendly dealer makes. Folks like Audreyanna and Brian (at the Cove Pool Blackjack tables) really enhance our entire experience. They are friendly and fun! Almost makes you forget you're losing, when you're being entertained by an expert and engaging dealer. We truly hope they are valued and appreciated by Atlantis, as people like them are the reason we choose to play at the Atlantis instead of Baha Mar. At the Casino Services desk, Finelle is so knowledgeable and helpful. And the ladies in the office are sweethearts! I would also like to note how much we appreciate the new absence of cigarette smoke. Now, if only we could get rid of the cigarettes and cigars at the Cove pool and tables. The renovations at the main casino were nothing special. Kind of disappointing, actually.Visited March 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten March 23, 2024
- barnyvaChesapeake, Virginia39 contributionsGreat PlaceAtlantis was what I expected. We typically enjoy small crowds but booked this for the kids. Lots of people and over priced food and drinks. Staff was definitely less friendly than you would expect but seems like the new automatic gratuity has created this. The extra tipping scenario is awkward and expected and you can almost feel the tension when you don’t. The resort was very clean and we all had a great time. Room service was great. The drinks were really good and the casino had a wide array of games.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 7, 2024

It is a typical Vegas style casino. I played for about an hour, and it was all I could stay as the air quality was horrible. Event the pit boss was complaining about how awful the air was while wafting her hand in front of her face. I had wan a bit at the 3 Card Poker Table and went to cash in and there was a line of over 35 people waiting at the Cashier's Cage with only 2 attendants working the windows. I waited about 10 minutes and never moved forward, so I just went back to my room. I returned the following afternoon, and there were three attendants now working at the Cashier's Cage, with a fourth wandering around behind them - Not a single person in line. Makes me wonder if they do it on purpose to sway people that don't really want to wait, back to the tables for a little more action and chance to lose some of what they've won.

The machines to cash out your tickets hardly worked the 5 days we were there meaning we had to wait in line for the 4/5 cashiers on duty along with 20-50 other people each time. The ATM is set up to only allow a low amount of cash each time so you have to pay the ATM fee PLUS the 12% vat fee each time. The casino has very poor ventilation so it was as if a fog lay throughout & the cigars/cigarette smell was overwhelming. Low staff means hardly no drink service. No comps, free play, games, incentives & although between the two of us we spent a lot of money we were told nothing would be taken off. Down the road at Baha Mar it’s updated, clean, good ventilation & lots of great incentives! Atlantis needs to step it up. Very disappointed.

The decor is getting tired, the Chihuly sculptures are getting dusty, the air is far too smokey, but the staff keep us coming back for more. The tellers at the cashier, the pit bosses, the concierges at casino services, and the dealers are friendly and welcoming. Marisa is such a fun dealer! She even makes losing a pleasure. She was kind enough to explain the game of craps to me, and she keeps me feeling engaged and welcome while my husband plays blackjack at her table. She's an expert at her profession, for sure! The cocktail servers are attentive - there always seems to be one around when you need one! And when we had an issue with a meal comp, Trinity at Casino Services came to our rescue. She was patient and understanding, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with her solution. So, we'll keep coming back, but I do wish they'd do something about the air quality in the room. Would also be great if there was a more discrete area for high rollers. There's an alcove of high-stakes slot machines, which I've never seen a single person play, but the high-limits blackjack tables are right in the center of everything, including the path between towers, like a six lane highway.

We went with a group of couples and had a great time visiting here on some of the evenings. Some in our party were more serious about their gambling while others just enjoyed the atmosphere. There are some beautiful glass displays that are worth the trip through the casino even if you don't gamble. Great atmosphere on weened evenings.

This Casino is small, games are not fun, I played many days and almost never won. You sit to play at a 1 cent slot machine, next thing you know every hit is many dollars. Noby is the only decent place, everything else is very low quality and not worth the money at all. I will never come back again.

I don't gamble much and have really never spent time in casinos, but i dropped in one evening before dinner at Atlantis. It was fun to see all the different machines and to hear all the sounds.
The place is visually stunning and beautiful, with the blown glass sculptures and other decorations adorning the large room.
It is really smokey there, which I am not used to; but still fun for a little while playing the slots and people watching.

I visited Atlantis several times during Christmas week. Perhaps this explained the crowds. Difficult to get a seat at the roulette table. Wait was usually 20-30 minutes. Be sure to count your chips as it seems the dealers were not always sure of the amount to be paid out and had to verify with other dealers or the pit boss (which is good).
Baha Mar is newer and Las Vegas swank but the casino floor was virtually empty when I visited and most tables were closed. Maybe because it was 2p in the afternoon. You can still have fun at Atlantis Casino and it certainly seems to be busy and lively at all times of the day and night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Atlantis Casino. The primary reason was due to the outstanding service provided my Kayon at the sports book lounge. She was consistently attentive to our needs, warmly greeting us with a smile, and remembering our names after our first meeting. She successfully managed the needs of all the customers while providing professional and personalized service to all guests. She is a star employee of the facility. We will definitely return and hope to see her still here.
In her absence, Keith was progressional, engaging and attentive to our needs. Cheers to him as well.

We only spent one night in the casino and enjoyed our time. I spent quite a bit of time at the roulette table. Minimum bet at my table was $25 in one bet or outside bets (even/odd, black/red, etc) or $5 min bets on the numbers with at least 5 bets or $25 required. I enjoyed the table for over an hour and still came out on top.
My wife played a number of slots. Although she didn't win, we didn't feel it was as rigged as some of the other comments mention.
Overall we had a lot of fun. We just returned from our trip and I felt it wasn't very crowded and we were able to play almost any game we wanted to play.
In addition, the staff was very friendly and happy to have us in the casino.

We were excited to see the new, upgraded improvements to the casino. At first glance it looks very impressive, spacious with new tables and slots. That’s where it ends…many slots were not working( out of order), those that worked couldn’t read our Atlantis card or room key. The table games remain an unfriendly and tedious place to play. You can only use ONE hand to pick up, sort and hold your cards. They don’t allow talking about or showing your hand to the person next to you(wife, friend). We’re all playing at a $15 table…not likely we’re there to make a big haul cheating. If you enjoy gambling with friends go to a casino in the US.
P.S. The Ladies and Mens restrooms at one end of casino were closed all week forcing everyone to walk to the opposite end for facilities.

Where do you go to smoke, now that the casino is non-smoking? Is there a specific area, or an indoor area? Thank you.

Smoking is not permitted in the Main Casino. Customers may smoke at the outdoor gaming tables located at the Cove. Just off the casino floor are three designated smoking areas. Within the casino, smoking is permitted at Dragons Lounge.

Not staying at resort. Can we still visit and play at the casino?
Written June 5, 2019
You can’t visit without a day pass to hotel. But you can get into just the casino without a pass. Strongly suggest getting a players card as they are very liberal with giving free rooms and comps on meals!
