The place continues to be amazing every time we visit BUT.....in every hotel (Coral, Royal) both inside the hotel and outside near the pool areas every bathroom is TERRIBLE. Updates are needed pronto! At 2 of the bathrooms staff were standing inside near the sinks and fixing their braids upon entering and when leaving the bathroom. Instead of just standing around why weren't they wiping up the sink area, cleaning off the accumulated dust in the slats of the bathroom doors, picking up items left on the floor. Why pay these employees when they're not doing anything but hanging around? I can see why tourists are so mad about the included 15% tip because some of the employees of Atlantis don't give a dam.

It's amazing what a difference a friendly dealer makes. Folks like Audreyanna and Brian (at the Cove Pool Blackjack tables) really enhance our entire experience. They are friendly and fun! Almost makes you forget you're losing, when you're being entertained by an expert and engaging dealer. We truly hope they are valued and appreciated by Atlantis, as people like them are the reason we choose to play at the Atlantis instead of Baha Mar. At the Casino Services desk, Finelle is so knowledgeable and helpful. And the ladies in the office are sweethearts! I would also like to note how much we appreciate the new absence of cigarette smoke. Now, if only we could get rid of the cigarettes and cigars at the Cove pool and tables. The renovations at the main casino were nothing special. Kind of disappointing, actually.

Atlantis was what I expected. We typically enjoy small crowds but booked this for the kids. Lots of people and over priced food and drinks. Staff was definitely less friendly than you would expect but seems like the new automatic gratuity has created this. The extra tipping scenario is awkward and expected and you can almost feel the tension when you don’t. The resort was very clean and we all had a great time. Room service was great. The drinks were really good and the casino had a wide array of games.
