Boat Charters: Charter the Aquavit II with Captain Jon Moore and enjoy the original combination of experience, hospitality, and flexibility that no other boat rental company in the Virgin Islands can match. Kiteboarding Lessons:Control of a power kite is the key to success. You will begin your training in the shallows behind the reef where you can comfortably focus on kite control, body dragging, and safety techniques. Once you can comfortably control a fully powered kite you are ready for your first ride. You will be working on water starting and controlling the power in the kite and on the board. The last step to becoming a kiteboarder is becoming free of the boat, and that means riding upwind. Full power and lots of carving are the key to success and we will hook you up with the tools and instruction to do both!

We liked the reviews and booked w/ Jon. He was kinda weird at first, very standoffish and almost snooty. His equipment (that day at least) was old & he didn't have what hubby needed for the conditions, so hubby didn't kite. The lesson he gave...More

We had a trying day. Winds died, rain came in, local police paid a visit but despite all of this Jon remained positive and continued with the lesson. I believe a lot of people would have thrown in the towel or turned sour. My son...More

Jon is a great guy with the right tools and approach to teach this sport, which can be dangerous. I've seen some really inferior approaches in my kiteboarding days riding in Hawaii, Baja and The gorge. He does it how it should be done. I...More

A class act from start to finish! The website is great & informative, the reviews were spot on & Jon is a skilled teacher. We made a good day out of some less than ideal conditions.

I had a great first lesson with Jon. Notwithstanding some wind issues and my two left feet, Jon got me through many of the basics and, most importantly, back to my wife in one piece and with a smile. What more could you ask for?...More
