This rocky promontory, the easternmost point in the United States, juts into the Caribbean Sea and features "The Castle," a huge mansion perched atop the cliffs and which resembles India's Taj Mahal and a Moorish mosque.

We just wanted to go to the eastern most point of US just to say that we had but the views were breathtaking and I was so glad we made the trip out.

We made a trip to Point Udall because we wanted to say we visited the eastern most point of US Territory. The views from east end are more desert and dry compared to western parts of the island where we were staying. It was nice...More

We took a drive out to Point Udall which is at the very Far East end of the island. The road circles around the monument so there’s no missing it! The ocean views are stunningly expansive. It would be nice if there was some type...More

Easternmost point in the US (by travel, not longitude) and the views are amazing. No cell signal here so you can't upload photos or check-in, but who cares. Get off your phone and enjoy the beauty!

Got the family up early, pour a large coffee, and drove up to Point Udall for a glorious start to the day. It’s a beautiful vantage point to sit upon the stone wall and watch the colors of the sky change as the sunrises. The...More

Beautiful drive up. Beauiful view all the way around. Monument is awesome. Nothing really to do up there other than walk around. Probably would be awesome at sunrise however. We went during middle of day

Headed up to this point at 5:45am one morning with the wife. Saw a beautiful sunrise and then hit Jacks and Isaac bays. Have to visit this place. The most eastern part of the United States USVI.

Probably a little tough return hike up the trail to the parking lot for the 18 month year old. Fun down hill. Round trip to Jack's bay is about 1.5 miles. Even though we are in our 70s this was an easy hike with wonderful... More

I'll defer to the locals for accurate crime stats, but as a recent visitor, I'll do my best on the east end. The east side is beautiful and has some incredible views. It is much more quiet, and many areas would best be... More
