Our villa was just around the corner from Taylor Bay, so we could walk/swim over from our "backyard" or down the street to enter at beach. There was no one in sight and the houses all seemed either vacant or very quiet. It was a fluke time with weather when we were there, it rained four of the five days,... More

We stayed at Grace Bay five years ago and loved the beach there, but we also enjoyed outings to places like Sapadillo Beach, Chalk Sound, and most especially Taylor Bay. In fact, we were so floored by the beauty of Taylor Bay that we made a second trip there that same week. Now, five years later, we were surprised to... More

This was by far the most breathtaking beach I have ever seen. You could go far out and the water was only up to your waist. The place was empty and calm. So peaceful. Finding places to park was the challenge.

Three of us took a taxi from Royal West Indies Resort. We requested to be taken to Taylor Bay, Sopadilla Bay, Chalk Sound and Las Brisas Restaurant. Got to Taylor Bay first. The gate to the beach was locked. Evidentially a new condo complex has been built there and they want the beach to be private. There are not supposed... More

We found a road that had some available parking (yes, limited) and a path that appeared to be public access to this beach. We didn't have any trouble visiting the beach. It was an absolutely beautiful beach and perfect for a nice long walk and picture taking. There were quite a few people on the beach and several people walking... More

This beach is private. All the land surrounding it is private and if you try to access it by climbing the fence or breaking it down, you will be caught on camera. Ocean point is a private drive and parking on the street is illegal (because its no longer a public street) and cameras have been installed. Please respect the... More

My family recently stayed at Etoile de Mer (VRBO #39717). It was an absolutely wonderful trip. We loved spending time at Taylor Bay with our grandsons. The adults lounged and read on the beach and kayaked in the bay. The beach is virtually private. The management agent told us that only vacation rental homes who have purchased an easement to... The shallow water is quite unbelievable. We were basically the only people on the beach and it was so worth the little trek to get here. You will want to pack drinks and whatever food you need for your day because there are no beach vendors here. Directions: From Chalk Sound Road: there will be a sharp left bend in... More

My family visited TCI 5 years ago and stayed on Grace Bay. Someone told us we HAD to go visit Taylor Bay. I am so grateful they did. We swore then and there that someday we'd return to TCI and rent a house on Taylor Bay. Took us 5 years, but we did it! Beautiful, private beach with the softest... More

Not only was it quiet and empty but the shallow calm water makes this a perfect place to take kids and chill in your beach chair. I felt so calm here this place will always be a snapshot in my mind.
