Needless to say everyone who visits Providenciales is fully aware of the awesomeness of Grace Bay. Unbelievably most somehow miss the "world treasure", Chalk Sound. My wife and I have traveled all over the world and our top three bodies of water with the most...More

We went to the Las Brisas resort planning on renting some paddle boards/kuyaks. Instead we opted for their 2 hour pontoon boat cruise. $70 a person x 4 but we had a good time as we were the only ones on the boat. If your...More

This sound has water that looks almost fluorescent blue. One good way to enjoy a brief visit to the sound is to stop at Las Brisas restaurant and have lunch on the terrace. Great food and a beautiful view of the Sound.

A real estate agent was showing us property on the island and the third property was overlooking Chalk Sound. We had no idea why the property was listed at a higher price than comparable homes until we looked out of the three sliding glass doors...More

We rented kayaks at Las Brisas & paddled around Chalk sound! Such beautiful water & so nice to look at all the beautiful homes overlooking the sound. It was a great afternoon! Had an amazing lunch at Las Brisas after!

The only thing I really wanted to see while on the island was Chalk Sound and Las Brisas Restaurant. The three of us took a taxi from Royal West Indies Resort. We asked to see Taylor Bay, Sopadilla Bay, Chalk Sound and Las Brisas. The...More

Chalk Sound is definitely worth the drive and the visit. We drove all around pulling over where we could to catch the many perspectives and beautiful views of the sound.

The water here can't be described, you must see yourself. Our villa overlooked the sound so we got to see it every day.

The clearest water I have ever seen! This area I am sure must have the best sunsets in the world as well. Sadparilla beach is a beautiful small sandy beach. Personally we went early in the morning to avoid the other tourists and were the...More

We stayed at Grace Bay and rented a car it took less than 30 minutes to cross the Island over to Chalk Sound.
So we are considering this location to rent a villa in January. 5 adults an 2 kids, 8,11. My concern is that it seems to be secluded from the rest of the islands restaurants? Any advice for us eating out frequently? We can taxi no problem, but not if everything is 30 mins away. We will just look into the Gracy Bay area. Thanks!

One more thing, Chalk Sound isn't ideal for young children, but Taylor Bay, which is right next to ChalK Sound, is!! Taylor Bay is hands down our favorite beach on the island. The 1/2 mile stretch of powder sugared sand and... More

Hello everyone! I have the luxury of going to Turks and Caicos next week. Is there any place that I can rent a kayak by Chalk Sound? Also, I'll have a scooter, is parking an issue? Any advice will be much appreciated. I've been to Turks a few years ago I didn't have a lot of time but I absolutely love it! The only thing I didn't do was Chalk Sound.
