No real place to park, no public beach visible, but one of the more spectacular sights I've ever seen. Not sure if there are better access points, but we just viewed from between houses as we drove. We stopped a couple times for pics. Worth...More

Chalk sound is so beautiful! It is definitely worth the drive to see it! I would recommend having lunch at Las Brisas and enjoy the view!

We drove here one day, not really a place to park and enjoy the view, best views were from the air when we were landing and taking off - got to appreciate it more!

We visited Chalk Sound and looked out at the gorgeous milky green/blue water while enjoying our lunch. It was beautiful If you make it the T&C definitely should go take a look at it.

Beautiful water. The most colorful water I've ever seen and a must see. However some caution concerning paddle boards and canoe rentals from las brisas restaurant the current at the time was swift so it was extremely difficult to paddle back in. Tried to get...More

We took a drive to chalk sound for a bit of variety and found it to be a lovely secluded beach that gently shallows. Perfect for kids but no facilities.

The sand is pure white, the water is shallow and so clear at Chalk Sound that I could sit for hours and just enjoy the serenity and the view. Be sure to visit Chalk Sound when you are in Provo.

By far one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. I highly recommend at least driving over to the area and seeing the views, it's truly spectacular. We drove directly to Las Brisas restaurant, which is part of Neptune Villas. They rent kayaks,...More

Absolutely worth the trip...a must see!! WE rented a car for the day, and drove over to the other side of the island, only about 20-30 minutes. We went straight to Las Brisas Restaurant/resort, where you can rent kayaks. Unfortunately, we had a cloudy, windy...More

We rented a car for the day and this was one of the highlights of the day. Very picturesque. We couldn't always see the view from the road but did find some view points.

I wouldn't say it's less breezy on Chalk Sound. We spent a lot of time on Taylor Bay Beach which is close to Sopadilla Bay. When we were there last month it was just as breezy on Taylor Bay as it was on Chalk Sound.

One more thing, Chalk Sound isn't ideal for young children, but Taylor Bay, which is right next to ChalK Sound, is!! Taylor Bay is hands down our favorite beach on the island. The 1/2 mile stretch of powder sugared sand and... More
