This avenue is in recognition of a cricket-great - Brian Lara! A nice promenade near the city center with both colonial era and modern buildings.

If I have the option I would stay away, you have to compete with too many vagrants, the place does not represents the city of Port of Spain

Brian Lara promenade is a usual passing spot where i commute It basically is a long stretch which has seating along with restaurants near by so if you get hungry you can eat something. In the night is a liming hub for some people.

Trees strategically placed along the promenade provide shade especially on a hot day you are in the heart of the city yet one can find a seat o rest meditate or people watch However more must be done to keep the area cleaner
