Got to Tortola, on a rainy day, and wasn't inspired at all, so just went for a stroll along the main road were we came to a small multi coloured group of huts selling all sorts of touristy items like, hats, multi coloured dresses for...More

This crafts market has some locally made items, but a lot looked generic like what you see in other Caribbean markets, so I think it's imported stuff, much of it anyway. If you want a souvenir then it's an option, but not a great one.

It is walking distance from the ship and is a colorful collection of huts. Mostly sells touristy items such as magnets, shot glasses, dolls, straw hats and some arts and crafts.

Overpriced items in "craft market " where most items are made in China. I found the same was the case in St. Thomas. I was hoping to find some locally local made items but was disappointed to find that most items were made in China....More

Crowded and the vendors are aggressive...not pleasant unless you are comfortable with saying no thank you over and over. The goods look like any other outdoor stall market..clothing all looks similar, typical trinkets, nothing special.
