The Fort is at the Divi Little Bay Resort. Walk up a step hill and see Great Bay and Little Bay all at the same time. Great photo area.

There are a few places to visit for history buffs like me and one of them is this fort. Unless you want to spend all your time on a beach or shopping, this is one of the few alternatives.

A real step back in time when the island was continuously in conflict over the then valuable salt ponds. You can tell why the location was chosen to defend Great Bay & Little Bay.

This is a good vantage point to see both sides of the island and surrounding islands. The hike up the steps was challenging for my 45+ legs but it was well worth it. A must see!

Loved going up here to check out the views. They have some really cool signs with lots of information and history on the island. What beautiful lookout and lovely place to explore! And it's free!

Stayed at Divi and walked to the Fort. Great history and views. Canons, radio hut is all there. You can see the cruise ships in port also.

It was under construction (almost done) when I was there on February 6, 2018. It looked like it will be very nice when done. I would definitely go there when construction is complete.
