Glad we made bumpy car drive, was part of a private car trip we shared so cost was about same as crowded tour. Much more pleasa
Easy walk through a lovely spot. Read tips in reviews, would definitely take a guide. She pointed out things we would have missed, and stayed while we did short dip in mineral bath, about 15 minutes. Were so relaxed we forgot about closing time until one of the pools started draining.

    Gorgeous! Worth a visit.
Gorgeous! Loved all of the plants and gardens. It poured rain most of the time we were there - it rains frequently in St. Lucia- so don’t wear flip flops. I’d recommend water shoes. You have traction and no nasty blisters.

Christmas time in the Botanical Garden
Nasha, the tour guide, made the experience unforgettable! She was very personable, knowledgeable, funny, and patient in explaining every flower and plant to us. Upon leaving, we gained a better understanding of the importance of the botanical garden on this beautiful island. Also, don’t forget to have your family pic taken in front of the waterfalls and if all possible please so kind to offer a generous gratuity to her Enjoy!

Great Experience at the Diamond Falls
We drove here and when we arrived there are private tour guides available before you go in. The cost is whatever you want to give them when you’re done. We decided to use the tour guide (thankfully) wealth of knowledge on what you’re looking at. We then paid the $10 entry fee plus the $3 extra (per person) for the private natural hot spring bath mineral bath. I highly recommend the private bath compared to the public, as it is really private and the temperature of the water is warmer. You get a key and when you enter the private bath there is a changing room. You lock the door. We brought our bathing suits but we decided we didn’t need to have them on due to the privacy. After your done disrobing you step down into the two private baths. The mineral baths are really warm and soothing and when you’re done (no time limit) there is a cold shower as you exit the baths. Bring a towel so you can dry off after showering. We arrived at 10:30am and there were only a couple tour buses in the parking area. When we left about two hours later I couldn’t count all the busses mostly from the cruise ships.

Great fun and good value, prepare to be given lots of info!
Extremely interesting visit, which took me about 80/90 minutes. The first thing to do, in order to get the best experience, is decide who your guide will be. There's a whole team of guides. I was recommended to pick Alexander who is a real character and massively knowledgeable. So much so he is known by his colleagues as "the walking internet". He is full of information about everything in the gardens, where the specimens originate, how long they've been in St Lucia and the history of the hardens. You won't leave a stone unturned in his company. He is clearly respected by all the other guides. You decide what the guide's tip should be at the end of the visit. There is an entry fee to see the waterfall, but the gardens are free if you don't want to see that. There's a small shop with gifts and refreshments. Right by the shop where the stream flows down from the waterfall, you should see Hummingbirds and during my visit I also saw a Bananquit. Alexander showed me where to get the best plant and bird pics. I really enjoyed the visit

    A Great Afternoon!
We spent a couple of hours here, strolling through the gardens, seeing the waterfall and having a couple of beers at their gift shop. It was an afternoon well spent and if you like seeing the native plants of the island and a gorgeous waterfall, this is the way to see it! We would definitely return if we ever came back to St. Lucia.

Try and get there before Tour Buses....arrive before 10:45
The gardens and setting are beautiful. Guides have great information and it was a really pleasant hour side trip. If you are traveling on your own, I recommend getting there before 10:45 AM. The cruise ship buses start arriving and it is still manageable but more crowded. Also, bring cash as they do not accept credit cards.

    Wonderful Garden Experience!
An amazing place to visit! The gardens contain many beautiful, exotic flowers and plants. The waterfall is equally amazing! The colour of the rocks exploded after a short shower of rain. Wow! Many birds were observed making the visit great! Get there early in the day. We arrived at 1000 am, opening, and were greeted with an almost empty garden to explore. By 1030 am, many tour groups arrived making the gardens fill up quickly. Would recommend! Enjoy.

    Very beautiful
Beautiful lush gardens. Very clean with signs along the walking tour to inform you of the plants The falls are not far and it’s an easy walk Took us about 90 minutes to do a self tour. Go early to avoid the buses and crowds.

We liked the gardens, though the paths were a little wonky. The flowers were beautiful and the grounds were well kept. If flowers are not your thing then you can breeze through to the waterfall. It's at the end of the oath is nothing like the tourism at the Toraille Waterfall, mostly because there is not a line of people waiting to get into the falls, but rather take some nice pics.

It's a nice stop, but I wouldn't say it is a must do unless you are into botanicals or as it was in our case, a planned stop on our South Tour.

It was so relaxing to walk through the garden and witnessing the beautiful waterfalls. There was also a nice gift shop. I didn't take a tour guide so I got to spend as much time as I want doing it independently.

Waterfall was beautiful as were the flowers. We opted for the private Sulphur baths as only was a dollar extra and we did not have any bathing suits so private was nice for my wife and I.

The gardens are fascinating and the waterfall unique. We had the encyclopedic, non-stop talking guide, alex, who was memorable and fun to wander with. He pointed out the amazing diversity of the gardens.
