Morne Fortune is a panoramic view point above the St. Lucia capital. I wouldn't suggest going on foot as it's a steep climb up.
By car it's around 5 to 10 min. Views are really great - you see the capital, surrounding hills and the port beneath you.
Beware, it can be pretty crowded and difficult to park when cruisers are in the port.

I saw this view twice. Our taxi driver both ways stopped here and saw tge view of castries harbor in the evening with a little overcast and leaving to airport while being sunny, its just a quick stop, you can see the capital surroundings and cruise ships docking

Spectacular views really abound here. My wife and I stopped off while on a short tour and enjoyed the experience. The site is very busy but the views are worth the effort. Great spot for those photographs that invoke wonderful memories later.

Stunning views of Castries from this stop at an old colonial house on a day excursion from our cruise ship.

St Marks was not particularly notable but the gardens & views made up for the lack lustre interior (and the upstairs was roped off). They had rum punch on offer but could not provide a cup of water for my partner who doesn't drink due to a medical condition - poor show.

Just a quick stop for a very good viewpoint. If your cruise ship is docked here, it makes a great take home shot.

Just one of those stops that you should check out.
Nice views, can be busy at times. We stopped on our way to hike pitons and do sulfer baths and waterfalls.

We do our first tour stop here on our way to Soufriere, the view is amazing of Castries and the cruises, was worth every minute the stop to see the island and take some pictures.

Passing point, everybody is stopping to see the port and Castries, so the place can be crowded. Have a local beer from the kiosk and enjoy the view for 10 minutes. Hop on the bus and here you go!

There is a lay-by and viewing point here for great views over Castries and the harbour. The French established their HQ here in 1765 and the hilltop saw several skirmishes with the British. A memorial, remnants of the original fortifications and cannons still stand nearby.

While in St. Lucia for a day from our cruise, I recommend skipping the tours and hire a cab. Walk out of the port area to hire. The price is about half. Also, splitting a cab with another couple is advised. Cabs are by-the-cab, NOT by the passenger. Be sure to visit the Eudovic Art Studio. Allow your caccie to select the locations. Don'tmiss the banana plactation to taste Banana BBQ Sauce.
