Great beach less crowded to the left
We stayed in the Starfish hotel on this beach. There are several bars and restaurants like Spinnakers with plenty of Sunbeds and shades. However these can get crowded with Cruise ship shore trips. There's boat taxi's from here to Pigeon Island at about $15 US for the round trip. To the left the Starfish hotel end near Maries shack is quieter it's good to snorkel off the reef below Mt Pimard. You can climb Mt Pimard but it it is a difficult climb requiring good foot ware. There are some sunbeds to hire with shade.

    Good beach near cruise terminal
Popular beach especially if you are in port on cruise ship. Sunbeds & umbrellas for hire along with plenty of drink & food options. No public toilets on this beach so will need to use restaurant with rest room. We have been here a few times and always had a good day out.

    Nice beach
This beach was a 5 minute walk from our resort. It's a nice beach with a few resorts and restaurants on it. There's a spot where you can do water sports, or take a water taxi over to pigeon island. You can also rent chairs and umbrellas.

    Best massage
Massage in the blue tent. Spencer is a physio so he's doing a better massage than all others around. I was very happy with my massage and he is cheaper than the other massage on Rodney's beach. (half the price and longer) so if you are here for vacation take a massage :) You will love it

    Beautiful beach
The beach was an easy walk from our hotel- Harmony Suites. Lots of room for everyone - even on Thursday and Sunday when the cruise ships are in port and people access the beach from the boat. You can rent 2 lounge chairs and umbrellas for approximately $20USD for the day with some negotiation. The water is clear and warm, under tow can be strong so watch coming out of the water. As a result of the under tow, boat wake etc, the sand can form sand bars that you can’t easily see when entering exiting so it can be uneven and you can enter the water because fell- good news is landing is soft lol. New Year’s Eve fireworks were great from the beach!

OK but loud and overly monetized.
OK if you need an easy-to-access, scenic beach, but overrun with loud vendors. One blasts loud music every day from a PA system which you can hear from several area hotels. At least they all moved on with a “no thanks, we’re good.” Just not the peaceful escape I had imagined. The beach itself is a natural wonder. Enjoyed the scenery here once I found a spot. Sunsets are epic. Jet skis zoom back and forth next to swimmers in the area. There was a fatality here a year ago and the local government still hasn’t done anything like mark off separate zones.

Depends what you are looking for, but our experience after disembarking from P&O Britannia for the day was as follows:

Reduit beach was one of the beaches in St Lucia highlighted on the onboard cruise TV guide, so we decided to give it a try having not booked on an organised excursion. Immediately at the exit of the cruise terminal you are directed to the taxi ticket window. We were then put in to a large people carrier with ten others and driven for 40 mins through heavy traffic to Reduit beach ($10 per person each way). We were instantly approached on arrival by hoards of locals selling sun bed spaces and pushing drinks, all at rip-off prices. Unfortunately by this point you have few options and we ended up on a beach packed in like sardines with waves so high that not long after the sunbed guy left we realised we and everyone else around us were getting waves upto and around our sun beds. There is no consideration for making you feel like you want to return to this island, just how a fast buck can be made with sun loungers, umbrellas and buckets of drinks at inflated prices. A shame as this could be a beautiful beach experience given the setting. Left at 1.00pm and returned to Port. Won't be rushing back to this part of the carribean. Other islands are much more welcoming !!!

The most hassled I’ve ever been on a beach in my life… the beach itself is beautiful spot with its only downfall being its steep run down to the beach. However if you’re looking for any form of relaxation don’t bother. The sun beds are scrammed together like sardines and you will be lucky to spend a minute without someone trying to sell something to you.

Visited the beach and area 3 times as we were in St Lucia, as it is absolutely breath taking, and has a nice Splash Park available for kids activities.

Beach is long but not wide. People were jammed together like sardines and this was a weekday. Everyone had two longes and an umbrella. This cost $30 US. I couldn’t see the water because the huge umbrellas blocked my view. The beach is filled with people peddling different things. Just a classless area. I will never come here again. Lone bright spot was Dillion who drove us here for $60RT total for the two of us from the downtown cruise port. Was on time and even came to get us earlier when we decided to leave. He can be reached at 1-758-722-6164.

We LIVE on the island of St Lucia and have only been to Reduit Beach once, won't go again, agressive sunbed renters, persistant beach vendors, When we got back to our car 'something' had been thrown over it, probably by someone we had said no to.

Be careful in Reduit beach because there are gangs related to drugs particularly at certain venues. They befriend you and then will set up robbery if your hotel room, steal iPhone and jewelry. Sometimes they work at the hotel like Bay Gardens and will their gang friend
And your room is robbed. The police does nothing. Be careful. Don’t take any cab make sure it’s certified with a license number.
