This is a rather small museum, with exhibits on life in Fort-de-France in the 19th and early 20th centuries. However, there is no English information whatever, so unless you can read French, you're apt to be unsatisfied and 4 euros poorer.

It's worth popping in as it's not too expensive but it's not a great museum. Exhibits are a bit tired but it gives good background to the deep history of the island.

It's not a large museum but an important one. Offers brief history on Carib Indians in the country along with some artifacts. Most of this is in French. It's well air conditioned and I'd suggest it for a midday break when the sun is burning...More
