This is the area were you have your restaurants, shopping and a boardwalk along the beach. Ferry’s are close by and there is also a park that’s family friendly and utilized by the locals.

Lovely park full of interesting items and iguanas, to the far corner is the ticket booth for the fort guided tour, they also have concerts and a lovely place to sit down and people watch

Historical park in FDF - we loved it. Headless Empress Josephine residing over it at the one end. Nice place to relax at.

Interesting statue in the middle of a public park. Not really worth going out of your way for but interesting nonetheless.

A beautiful park within easy walking distance of the cruise ship dock. We enjoyed a relaxing rest in the shade while we people watched. Playground equipment for kids to play on. Monuments and statues throughout the park.

It was on the list of sights to see in Martinique and I accidentally passed it while looking for a place to eat. It's interesting because of the backstory that i learned on Google. There was no information on the statue which would have been...More
