All the water in the waterfall is from the rain that falls in the rain forest. This was a beautiful stop and we spent 30 minutes there - we could have spent more time.

We liked to stand and watch the waterfall as it is very beautiful and relaxing. The sounds in the forest are awesome.

The most exciting waterfalls in the Rainforest! Just about 45 minutes fairly easy hike to the falls. Take a swim in the "Cool Pool" at the base of the falls and amazing sights all along the trail.

Best to go during the week as weekend tends to get busy. Wear shorts to get in to the water and water shoes if you have them. Plenty to see and well worth the time to cool off in the rain fed waterfall.

We reached La Mina Falls, while hiking on one of the trail known as Big Tree Trail. It was so relaxing after about 30 minutes of hiking. The water pond under the falls was not too deep and people enjoyed taking falls on their head

Our La Mina Falls visit was an amazing experience, it's about a 25-30 minutes walk up the mountain. Wear comfortable shoes and wear swimming clothes because the best experience is getting into the waterfalls, water is cold but tolerable I didn't want to get out....More

They have tours where they will pick you up from your hotel but it's really better to drive up yourself and go at your own pace

We just rented a car and spent the day there, a big of which involved both sets of falls.
