What used to be a major street is a nice venue for strolling and getting a feel for the city. The fountain is at the centerpiece where the street meets the sea. Take in the fresh air and the gorgeous sunshine!

Nice stroll along the walls of Old City with view of harbor, while walking beneath stately trees that provide shade.

It is fine but doesn’t amount to that much. In certain days there are local artisans / vendors. Don’t go with high expectations and you’ll enjoy yourself!

Once a prominent street, Paseo de la Princesa is a pleasant promenade below the old city walls. It runs from the local ferry pier (close to the cruise terminal) all the way to the San Juan gate, offering great sea views along it.
There're many souvenir stalls and food trucks along the way, as well a nice fountain.

This is a nice area to walk as you make you way to El Morro. Interesting architecture, statues, fountains, old city walls. Just a good place to stroll taking in the sights.

This street is tree lined and has gardens, benches and statues. You will usually find some artisans, and there is a clean public bathroom (50¢) on the left side. You can also see the massive city wall. I do strongly suggest hiring a tour guide to appreciate the monuments better.

Lots of historical landmarks to visit as well as lots of great shopping and restaurants! This was the starting point for us and we explored the area from there. Bring sunblock! :)

Nice for a walk and to check out some local vendors. Provides some shade on a hot day as well. Leads to the path that goes to the gate as well as El Morrow

2 Hour Segway tour will get you to see part of the Old San Juan...that is all, Old San Juan (Where most of the Tour boats dock) is quite big.
Segways are easy to handle, so taking pictures should be easy...but, again...Old San Juan has cobblestone streets, so, is a interesting ride.
