This place was very well taken care of. We were shocked at the number of stores that we recognized in this mall. Prices were not the greatest but thy were not out of this world either.

This is a fresh food market located in the heart of santidad. This is also right next to what they call la Placita where you find the best nightlife.

This is my husband's first stop on every visit to PR. The market consists of blocks of shops where items can be found for pennies on the dollar. This is usually where the locals are so there is no tourist mark up. The central plaza...More

Fantastic open air market. It is slightly off the beaten path, so you get local prices, top quality produce and great street food. We were there for the fruit and Batidas and were very happy with them. We got there at 6:00am and it took...More

This is certainly an excellent place to go if you want to immerse yourself in the culture and get acquainted with the locals. However, the market is certainly in a poorer part of San Juan. I would certainly not recommend that anyone take anything that...More

Had to have 2 cops give me the correct address here because Trip Advisor has it listed wrong. Upon arriving, we were greeted by an overwhelming odor of urine, expired fruits, and closed shops. Apparently they are mostly closed until Thursday-Sunday, but I cannot imagine...More
