Wanted to do some shopping. Taken to one of the gift shops. As soon as you get off the bus, the sales people swarm you. Stuff is very overpriced. Barter and go cheap!

Few shops selling the same tourist rubbish and a few bars. This place was absolutely awful and the lowest point of a 14 day Western Caribbean cruise.

It is a good name and there is plenty of vendors, places to eat and shop but is really nothing special. We went on a Friday night and was surprised how not busy it was.

Good deals if you can barter, The hip strip is a long street so take plenty of water. We got some cracking deals for gifts for the family back home.

A must visit for all your Jamaican souvenirs. Look for a store named Seasons. The proprietor name is Harry. He is helpful and friendly and offers good bargains.

As many other posters have commented - be ready for very aggressive offerings of everything from cashews, to carved phallic pipes, to a wide range of drugs. We stopped by Usain Bolt's restaurant, which was a nice sports bar, and did a small shopping at...More
