We took a cab from our hotel to the Hip Strip for a bit of souvenir shopping. Slightly worried after reading the reviews. Can honestly say we never experienced anything untoward. Of course shop owners tried to get you into their shop to look. But...More

Too much traffic, loud, dirty, everybody making to make a buck from you. Repetitive shops, pressure selling, same touristy trash. You might welleet someone who will befriend you and become your auto-chaperone and expect $$ for the privilege of accompanying you. Keep well away.

Wanted to do some shopping. Taken to one of the gift shops. As soon as you get off the bus, the sales people swarm you. Stuff is very overpriced. Barter and go cheap!
