Good friends who winter-over each year chose this area because of its (mostly) unspoiled beauty, the friendly locals, and the great food. Life here is peaceful and serene throughout the day; evenings can get very lively at the local watering holes which often feature live...More

Jamaican people love this beach area on the South Coast. It is nothing fancy, but some of the best seafood restaurants on the island are located there. The views of the coast line are breathtaking. It is a working beach. Fishermen depart from this beach...More

Treasure beach isn't very big but the waves are huge, my kids loved it. You have to be careful because they really are big waves, but they had a blast. It's a great place to stop for an afternoon.

Unfortunately we were in a hurry to make multiple excursions that day. We enjoyed the drive through. This would definitely be a relaxing getaway. Not much tourist activity. I really liked Jake’s. We took a little tour while there. Everyone was really nice. Just wish...More

If you are looking for a laid back atmosphere free of all the pushy Jamaican pot and 'souvenir' sales (at every turn). On the South side of this little island; Treasure Beach is a small village with many small and fantastic restaurants and rental cottages...More
