We took an off-road Can-Am excursion through Hard Rock Resort that brought us to Macoa Beach. There were little shops set up where the locals were selling beer and handmade goods. They were not "pushy" and very friendly. The beach was a little bit dirty,...More

We have been to Macao a few times from 2014 to 2017. It is always dirty with garbage all over like the rest of the island. Bring a chair, a towel or something if you don't want to rent from the locals. Before getting in...More

Beautiful sandy beach with an authentic feel since not many tourists, mainly locals. The waves were very strong though so I couldn't swim. Not sure if it like this all year round, but definitely a negative if you can't swim safely in the water.

White Sands bright blue colors, crystal clear water. It has to different beaches in one. One area for surfers and one for the family and little ones with no waves. A must!

The tour of Macao beach was a good experience. The waves were extremely rough and the water had overflowed onto the road at one point.

We really could not enjoy the beach due to the amount of vendors, you could not get away from them, they were very agressive.

Got to visit Macao beach, but not long enough, on our ATV excursion. God was showing off when he made beautiful place! Only issue was the highly pushy men on beach wanting you to buy their stuff. Hate to be rude to them, but dang,...More

We stayed at the Royalton Bavaro about 15 mins from Macao. I didn’t see any resorts in Macao. Royalton Bavaro was excellent.
