Really loved this beach. The snorkelling is really good and even at deep depths, the visibility is good. The coral is healthy and fish are abundant. The way the cliffs stand on both sides of the beach are really unique, providing a really cool swimming area I've never experienced. There is good shade on the beach and it isn't too crowded with people. Definitely worth the visit!

Snorklers seemed to like it here and there are two cafes/bars and a dive shop. Best bit for me was. waiting for the fishermen to come in around midday and buying a barracuda which they cleaned and gutted. About 10 US per kilo. Lots of tuna too.

Very secluded , safe and beautiful sandy beach. Great for snorkeling and swim with the turtles. Saw also parents with very small kids. That means safe. Lounge chairs and chairs at a small fee available. For those from the hotel free. At the restaurant above the beach bay we order food, like delicious burgers, goat sandwich, fries, etc.we pick up and enjoy it on the beach. Restaurant has excellent menu and chef. Always interesting to see what the small fishingboats bring in and sell.

we visited in 2018 and wanted to return this time around. no cost to enter, beach parking had security person (no charge) but beach has no washrooms, showers, change rooms. 2 restaurants (one above looking down on the beach, one directly across the street) both seemed to be doing well. lounge chairs available at a cost. quite busy the day we were there, i think that churned up the sand so that clarity of water for snorkling was compromised....perhaps better if you went beyond the coral cliffs to open water. shoreline and entry had coral stones. feel free to bring your own food/drink/chairs. we enjoyed our afternoon but would rather continue to explore other Curacao beaches.

Great spot for a beach day. Very chill and relaxed vibe. Cute beach cove not a ton of Instagrammers like other beaches around. If you want shade get there earlier like around 10 am. Grab a chair as they are comfy and the ground is pretty rocky and full of fruit from the trees. I didn’t snorkel or scuba but over heard it’s the best place to do so. Suggest you bring drinks and sandwiches. There is a restaurant on the hill I didn’t try but beach food is usually basic so decided to do our own thing. Scuba people said it was $6 for snorkel to rent if needed.

This is such a great snorkel spot!!! We did not do the other top rated snorkel spots (Klein Curacao or Tugboat), but this was by far my favorite spot for snorkeling. The water (at least on the day of our visit) was super calm. I usually get seasick after 30 minutes, but I was perfectly fine snorkeling here. We saw two sea turtles. The reef is healthy and runs along both sides of the cliff. We even ventured out into the main channel where the water was still surprisingly calm (still tons to see under the water).

Playa Lagun is a public beach, which means a little more trash. If you're not into snorkeling, and you just want the beach scene, I would recommend Cas Abao (a private beach).

Beach chair rentals were available, but not umbrellas. There is a restaurant, but we did not eat there.

A nice beach indeed but quite narrow and thus rapidly overcrowded. The water is not as clear as at other places of Curacao. And due to the fact that it it very narrow you don´t have the feeling of freedom, wide views etc.
There are much better beaches on Curacao!

This beach is stunning. Definitely worth the trip. White sand, dramatic cliff formations, not too crowded, all in all great. We visited Piskado (Turtles), Lagun and Porto Mari and while Lagun seemed to draw the biggest local crowd, and Porto Mari definitely seemed better developed, this one drew its charm from being a bit more of a local crowd away from it all. You'll definitely need a vehicle to get here.

Great snorkeling probably the best in Curacao, we saw big fishes, squid, eel, turtles by the cliffs not too far from the shore. Doesn’t get crowded too. Main issue is that I got stung by small jellyfishes when I swam in the morning around 9am they are mostly on the left side.

We visited all the beaches in Westpunt and this was our favourite! We came back several times and always saw something different. It is a small bay which usually has calm waters. The entry is easy- no need for water shoes. It is quite popular, but we avoided on the weekends. We snorkelled both sides, depending on the waves. Sometimes the left side was more cloudy depending on the wave direction. We also went around the point on the left side. If the water has no current, I recommend trying beyond the point. There are larger and very healthy coral, and larger fish. Just keep your eye out for boats.
