We stepped off the tour bus at the indoor flea market along side the harbor and saw this interesting old stone church across the road. We thought it looked like the orthodox churches we had seen in Eastern Europe - small with a domed roof....More

Home of the "black Madonna", this little gem of a church is beautiful in its simplicity. It's amazing how light streams into all reaches from only two access doors at the rear of the sanctuary. This is thoughtful craftsmanship.
