This was a nice fort. Pretty badly maintained compared to similar forts in Puerto Rico and elsewhere in the Caribbean but the locale is very nice offering great views of the Havana skyline and Malecon.

The cannot shot is a big disappointed. Although apparently a major tourist attraction, it is unfortunately badly organized and at times a bit chaotic. Better visit during the day and adnire the place and the views from there.

This fort is located in a gorgeous spot right at the mouth of the Harbour. The exhibits are interesting, but if you do not speak Spanish you may need a guide to decode the explanations. However, even without the guide for part of the tour...More

Nice scenic spot, great for photos and shots of the horizon. Beautiful at sunset time also. There are canons all around too.

Standing guard at the entrance of the port, El Morro is an impressive sight. Exploring the walls, shopping the stalls, and seeing this historic view is a must.

This is one of the oldest historic ceremonies in Cuba and probably in the Caribbean. It is also the one of the few "for sure will happen" events in the whole island. Under rain, storm or any other situation the city of Havana can always...More

A nice location with some awesome views. There are some nice vendors along the way with hand made craft at very good prices. Easiest to access by the hop on hop off bus tour but there are other options.

This is like many El Morro castles throughout the Caribbean but is on the entrance to the Havana harbor. Very similar in likeness to that in Old San Juan and in Santiago de Cuba. Our guide told us translated, it means the Castle of the...More

When I went , I went with a local who didn't pay anything. We took a ferry which is about 5$ . From what friends have paid prior was 5 CUC for entry.
