We visited this place especially to witness the famous "Cañonazo" a show with old colonial style military, and a canon being shot at exactly 21:00. Very recommendable when visiting Havana.

We paid to get an old car convertible tour and the driver took us here. It has amazing views. A must see on your trip. Best place to get amazing pictures of downtown Havana and the Malecon.

As far as fortresses go, this is situated in a perfect spot for taking breathtaking pictures and watching the sunset over the water.

Beautiful old fortress and lighthouse located across from the Malecon. Another place in Havana where you can take beautiful panoramic photos of the city. Has plenty to view anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours worth of exploring. Also has local vendors selling various items...More

Very good view of the city and the sea. Probably one of the bests sunsets one can experience. ¡Viva la revolución!

Great place to visit, take in the view. The rich history of El Morro. Enjoy shopping and even get a coconut water while you absorb the space in which time has brought you. Lucky You. Lucky me.

So much history happened here. It is very beautiful and worth seeing. If you come in by cruise ship it'll be on your left hand side when coming into the port.

Wonderful for at the top of the bay. Good, air-conditioned shop for rum and cigars inside. Nice variety of souvenir vendors outside. Band playing in the interior courtyard was very talented. Make sure to tip them. It's very appreciated.

El Morris very similar to the one in Puerto Rico but we decided to go and our day was further enriched by the history lesson. Be prepared to climb stairs and enjoy the view
