About
Baby Beach is a hit with travelers, who love it for its warm, shallow waters and gentle waves. Inexperienced snorkelers can wade far out toward the rainbow-colored coral while still being able to touch the seabed. Beachgoers who plan to soak up the blissful setting can target one of the complimentary huts or consider renting a cabana. There’s a refreshment stand selling burgers and hotdogs. This picturesque lagoon is a refreshing change from other busier beaches. The best way to get there is by car or taxi. Otherwise, look for guided tours that feature this coastal gem as part of the itinerary. – Tripadvisor

    Incredible Beauty!
We are so glad we toured San Nicolas and Vaby Beach. It’s beauty is unmatched. There is a wonderful beach bar on-site with great drinks and service. There are shaded areas under trees or the huts. You can rent chairs, tents…

    Beautiful but has a current
Unlike the very calm waters at Eagle Beach & Palm Beach, Baby Beach has a bit of a current ultimately leading out to a tempestuous sea, which makes it a bit dicier despite the fact that it is shallow. The snorkeling is great, though. Just go where there are any rock clusters (in various spots) and you will see a variety of fish. Someone suggested dropping frozen peas in the water and provided some - not sure this was good for the fish, but it did cause quite a commotion and fish of all sizes and colors appeared rapidly. Snorkeling goggles and life jackets can be rented for $10 at the bar onsite. No beach shower facilities available at the moment to allow for washing off, but that will likely change with the hotel being built nearby. Glad I went overall.

    Turtles all the way down
We stayed on this end of the island at a wonderful VRBO and were able to visit baby beach before during and after the crowds - AMAZING! We snorkeled there almost every day of our trip and saw healthy coral, lots of fish and turtles almost every day - we love this side of the island!!!

It’s like a swimming pool in the ocean
Baby beach is beautiful. We recommend getting a car to drive out there. It’s on the other side of the island and a taxi is quite expensive. Locals recommended that we get try Rum Reef for lunch, we enjoyed watching the beach from that view at lunch time. They even had an infinity pool. Baby beach is a wonderful spot, it’s like a swimming pool the water is so shallow and calm. A great place to enjoy a very quiet beach away from town. This is not a party beach, so don’t go there expecting that scene. It’s quiet and peaceful.

    Amazing Beach
Baby beach is a small beach but easily my most favorite beach when visiting Aruba. We went towards the end of our trip and I almost wish we didn’t wait so long so that we could go more than once! The water was crystal clear and so calm. I brought some snorkeling gear and was able to see more fish than the actual snorkeling tour I went on. Definitely get there early because as I said earlier, it’s a small beach!

    Beautiful!!
Beautiful beach in a lovely cove. Couple of beach restaurants. Sun loungers and sun shades for rent. I’d get there before 10am to get a good spot. Especially if you want shade under trees.

    Great Beach In Paradise
Baby beach is am picturesque beach in Aruba. Its' clear blue water and perfect sand attract many visitors. In recent years Baby bech has seen an interest by the goverment and locals to add more services and businesses. Currently there is a stalled major building project that dwarfs over the landscape. There are business there where you can get foodand drinks. It is a great day visit.

Worth a trip but do the rentals!
Beautiful beach!! Such a cool spot how this ocean is enclosed and you can see the rocks forming it. Next time I would bring chairs and umbrella to really make a day as laying on the beach mat with blowing sand got tough. We also enjoyed the snorkeling!

Great beach for kids but a bit crowded so come early
Visited baby beach as a family with young children. It’s located on the south end of the island so if you are coming from palm beach it’s an expensive cab ride. The are a few palpas but they are first come first serve so come early to snag one. They have some rental equipment for a fee. There is a restaurant called Rum Reef if you want to pay to use the restroom but not really any public options to change or use restrooms which is unfortunate. Huge construction site for Hard Rock Cafe that will ruin the beach in my opinion so that will be unfortunate. Good bit of coral for some light snorkeling and pretty calm waters for little ones. Waves are pretty subtle so don’t expect much if that’s your thing.

There is no doubt that baby beach is stunning, but between the terrible experience we had at Rum Reef (i left a review detailing the experience), the weird exchange we had with the chair guys, and watching a dog fight break out between the strays where a woman threw her beach chair into the mix (not sure if that made it better or worse), on top finding beer cans, tin foil, and other debris littered on the shore, I don’t think baby beach holds up to same standards as the rest of Aruba.

This used to be an undiscovered beach in Aruba but has gained popularity. There is a restaurant, rentals etc. The beach and water areas were pretty crowded and will get worse with the completion of a huge resort currently under construction. There is GREAT snorkeling with sea turtles beyond the breakers. Caution is advised because there is a current if you go this far. I would not recommend it for poor swimmers. Fins will make it much easier. It's beautiful and worth a visit.

A little far from Eagle beach area but well worth it. Calm, clean, no seaweed water. Wide sand area with some free palapa’s. A little out to the ocean, superb snorkel area. Great for young kids & adults

kid-friendly beach. clear, calm, shallow water. down side- $70 to rent a beach tent with 2 lounge chairs, and 2 tickets to use the toilet. cash only. otherwise, $2 for every toilet use. the bathroom attendant was rude. told me and my toddler we washed our hands too long… it was still soapy 🤷🏻‍♀️

The snorkeling is still wonderful. The area for snorkeling is cordoned off from the bathers which helps. The surrounding area is going through substantial commercialization which will likely have a negative impact upon the landscape. There are now two restaurants and condos are under construction.

Sunbathers should bring cash to rent chairs and leantos. We did not find snorkeling rentals near Mama’s restaurant. Perhaps the Reef has the equipment.

Great place to go when the cruise ships are in port. We went here two days during our stay. We would recommend it. However, at a second visit we received a ticket to use the bathroom. As a result, it feels like we did not get full service the first time around. Bring cash. Regardless of when you get there the price for a cabana and chairs ( $70) is the same. They close at five. You may encounter mules in the road on your way there and dogs ( not aggressive) on the beach. You will enjoy your day here.

This had to be the nicest of all the beaches in Aruba. No crowded and the gentle slope and shallow water was perfect. Its a bit out of the way but well worth the journey.

Absolutely amazing beach. Great for really little ones and elementary ones and tweens and teens and adults!! The beach is huge and plenty of spots to park yourself on the beach. Lots of car parking too. The water and sand are amazing!!! The snorkeling was great too, over by the rocks where the section is roped off, tons of fish to see. Be mindful of the current as you get closer to end of rocks, by opening to beach from Caribbean Sea, can be strong there. Gladly come here again and spend all day here, easily. Bring a cooler with alcohol, plenty of water, and food; sandwiches, etc. nothing like $7.50 for a small can of 5% beer. The downside is that the canopy’s cost $70 each, and automatically come with 2 lounge chairs. Cash only. If staying all day, not too bad. Otherwise you’ll want to bring some kind of canopy or umbrella. Crazy sunny!! And plenty of sun block.

Amazing experience. Perfect azure blue clear water, clean, fine off white sand. This is how I imagined a Caribbean beach would be!
