About
Aruba's Natural Bridge collapsed on September 2, 2005. Aruba's stunning geological formation where years of erosion from the sea has carved its way through coral rock forming a 100 foot bridge, 25 feet over the sea, which is the largest of its kind in the Caribbean. Next to the collapsed bridge is now the Baby Natural Bridge which offers great photo opportunities. The site also offers a bar, restrooms and shopping. The area is beautiful for walking or cycling.

    Beautiful, mesmerizing geologic feature
We stopped at the Natural Bridge area on our driving tour of the north desert section of Aruba.  What we saw is the Baby Natural Bridge adjacent to the old Natural Bridge which had collapsed (in 2005!).  Fortunately, the Baby Bridge is just as quite attractive with the ocean waters rushing underneath, and water sprays along the rest of the coastal cliffs.  The attraction is a regular stop on group tours, and there is a tourist shop with restroom facilities.  If one has time and is prepared, one can go on some beautiful hikes in the area.  The Natural Bridge is an enjoyable stop with an interesting geologic feature.

    Beautiful views!
This review is actually beyond the natural bridge but the whole area is beautiful. Those that rated it lower were probably on a quick tour and only stopped at this spot. We actually hiked from here to Andicuri Beach and Black Stone Beach (about 1 mile each way) and absolutely loved the experience!

    Natural Bridge has Fallen!
We cruised to Aruba in September 2023. We rented a Jeep and explored the island with a map and enthusiasm! We made many stops along the way, and one of our last stops included the Natural Bridge. There are a lot of tour buses in the parking lot of the Welcome Center, but plenty of room to park. We were surprised to see the bridge had broken and collapsed because that is not how they promote the site. Still, it is a beautiful area, and there is another small "bridge" in the area. The site has become more of a wash-in for the ocean. Aruba is a beautiful island, and driving the North Shore in the Jepp offered an ever-changing scenery! Our Jeep cost us $250.00 for the day, and we rented from a group when we disembarked at the port. If you rent beforehand from the airport (it isn't much further down the road) it is cheaper. We ended our day at Baby Beach for a stunning beach experience!

    Stunning Ocean View
We enjoyed the ocean view next to the Natural Bridge. It is a vast understatement to categorize this area to be merely a geologic formation. Sure, it is a wild experience to see the natural bridge itself created by ocean wave erosion. However, if you walk around the tourist store for a few steps, you get to see the stunning view of sapphire ocean waves crashing to shore. Natural Bridge on the northeastern shore of Aruba, facing the wind and ocean waves, gives this area the astonishing sapphire ocean view that you won't see on the much calmer turquoise Palm Eagle Beach side. You flew thousands of miles to a tropic island, would you want to miss out the unique view on just the other side of the island?

One of the arches has collapsed
Sadly, one of the arches has collapsed and you no longer have access to the beach at the base of the arch. It is still scenic and is worthwhile when combined with a visit to the ruins. There are tons of stacked rocks which make for interesting photo ops. We also enjoyed the patterns in the lava flows.

    Beautiful views!
Beautiful views! The baby natural bridge is very small especially compared to the natural bridge that crumbled in 2005. And sadly, there was a lot of trash in the water by the baby bridge. But there were spectacular views aside from the bridge. Drive very carefully and you can make it with a standard rental car. But you cannot veer off the dirt road. If you want to explore the gold ruins, walk. You can see them from the road. We did not stay long. It is a nice short excursion to see the rough side of the ocean with waves crashing. There is a small gift shop. They sell snacks and drinks. You have to pay one dollar to use the bathroom. No fee for the views or parking.

Came here as part of an island tour. The bridge is only half there as it's suffered damage during an earthquake a few years ago so the "bridge" section is much shorter and much of the area is closed off for safety reasons. Still one of the main stops in Tr park, with a fair sized gift shop and pay toilets ($1).

We came here as there was a geocache to find. Both were pretty disappointing. The good natural bridge collapsed quite a few years ago and the remaining one just isn’t that exciting. If it is part of the tour, fine, but if you are on your own, don’t bother. It was so unexciting I didn’t even take a picture of it.

This is arguably the best part of visiting the Island; visitors will quickly see the difference between the eastern vs. western sides of the island. You can see the beautiful fury on display in the waves that crash into the rocks here. The area also has a place where you can get souvenir gimcrackery liked overpriced T shirts ($28) which I would avoid. There is also a small cafe on site and a place to rent off road vehicles.

If you are accessing the area with a rental car, be advised that most of the last two miles is a dirt road; it's certainly accessible but don't try to go more than about 20 mph at the most. Plenty of free parking where you can also walk down several steps to a small area where there are better photo opportunities and which will put you even closer to the waters.

It’s a cool drive to see the other side of the island, stop at some of the inlets on the way to broken bridge. The natural bridge is broken but cool to see for 5 mins. Very busy with tourists. The store/rest stop seems very tourist trap like. Prices high, food terrible and expensive, pay to use bathroom. If your paying someone to take you here or on a tour pack snacks so you don’t have to spend money here!!!!

The rude bathroom attendant screamed at me in front of a bunch of people because I got the floor a little dirty. I was on a ATV tour and was very dirty . She them proceeded to tell me to get in there and “clean it up” I was so embarrassed with everyone staring at me. If she was nice I would have wiped the floor but she was awful. I do hope nobody else has this experience. It ruined the rest of my day.

We were lucky to be here on a day where there were brisk winds, causing a great surf. The new natural bridge was easily visible as were the remains of the prior one. It’s a great stop to see nature at its finest.

I enjoyed visiting this location, because of how peaceful this area seemed. Was not crowded, nothing special, just waves crashing upon the shore. The fierceness of the waves made this experience something I could have watched all day. Glad I had this experience.

Read other reviews..if you are on a cruise ship and Aruba is your port do not waste your time to view the Natural Bridge, find a different excursion. This only takes about ten minutes to see unless you desire to sit and feel the splash of the waves or day dream and think. Only visit if you are on the island for several, three or more, days.

the natural bridge broke off due to hurrican per our tour guide on de plam tours . but when we visited we got out and we were able to walk through and take pictures of the shoreline , the ocean slamming through the rocks , little pools of salt , we saw a bright blue lizard , it was pretty neat .
they had a bathroom in the area , but you have to pay $1 to use it.

It’s worth the drive to see the Natural Bridge as it is in a pretty area. As with all things, your enjoyment at this destination will depend on what you’ve done or seen before; if you’ve spent time in Australia then this might seem small. You can walk across the natural bridge, take picture, write something in the sand. There’s a small gift shop and some nice views on the drive out.
