Left on time and returned on time. Crew where helpful and ride was pretty flat considering the choppy sea.

Unfortunately the election meant that the ferry was running an unusual timetable... And I hadn't checked Facebook! The website doesn't have really up to date info, so really, really do check on FB! Fred was charming and helpful, but we couldn't go on another day...More

Arrived over half and hour early for this ferry but it left an hour early. Government business allegedly but even the guides on Barbuda did not know about it. There were other people there who had been specifically told to come back today because the...More

The morning of our trip was overcast and on/off raining in St John's, which put a few people off as the sea was a bit rough. This was to our enormous benefit because there were only three of us booked for the guided tour and...More

Took the day tour to Barbuda. It is actually a fairly small ferry and the trip over was pretty rough; a few passengers got sea sick. Once at Barbuda we are met by a couple of taxi vans that give a tour of the small...More

Soul less boat, abandoned on a liveless beach, only saving grace was to the Bird Island. The local small boat men were very knowledgeable and helpful. Went on the Excellence Cruise Boat.

The government run Barbuda Express ferry is hilarious- it's tiny and fun and quite frankly the captain was amazing. I was so lucky I had the foresight to check it was running before leaving my hotel as I only found out when I was in...More

We were told by locals to wait for calmer waters prior to going to Barbuda. Some did get sea sick. Boat was clean. It's a catamaran ferry. 1 bathroom. Doesn't run at full capacity, booking ahead is recommended. Ocean was calm on return trip to...More

While vacationing in Antigua, we went on a day tour by "Barbuda express". We arrived to the pier at 8.30 am as was instructed by our concierge. First you have to wait in line to "check in", which we did, then they embark you on...More

This is a very rough crossing! It is not the Caribbean you are crossing but the Atlantic. 1/2 the boat got sick and it wasn't rough. Not a white cap to be seen. 1 1/2 hours of a roller coaster ride each way.
