This cementery in Bengkulu was a very sad experience for me. The English were here for over 300 years thus the people buried here are English citizens with family in England. It seems that the last time the English Embassy did anything in this cementery...More

The cemetery has been neglected for years. There is nothing posted that explains it's significance or history. It may be of interest to descendants of those buried here. I only visited because it is directly across the street from a great coffee shop, Bencoolen Coffee...More

located on resedential area, the cemetery look old and abandoned. a pity , its not well taken care by local goverment as a historical site . maybe its sentimental journey for british family who burried their family here...but mean nothing to others
