Visited the park today with my daughter and grandchildren Felicity and George , they have been many times but it was my first time. There was something there for everyone , wish we had this place in Newcastle .

Came here for a work Christmas do - decor very nice. I had soup for my starter, it was the smallest bowl of soup I’ve ever had. A couple of mouthfuls and it was gone. Mediocre salmon main and the cheesecake for dessert was okay....More
A large park basically the gardens for the big house. The house is beautiful but is now used by the council as a registry office. But is does have a wonderful cafe inside.

I have never seen anyone playing with there own control boats. There are a lot of weeds along the banks although when I was there a few weeks ago it looked like the park keepers were doing a cleaning up job of the bank.
