What they dont tell you
Oct 2020
The ONLY reason this gets 1 star is because no one mentions that if you dont take a shuttle, its an hour and a half (incline) just to get up to the lodge (and then back down, because again shuttle tickets must be purchased day before) which THEN the hike is 30 minutes after that but it was incredibly worth it. So much wildlife!

short trail, may walk if you have time, can skip if no time
Jun 2019
it's a short trail, you can finish it within half hour, it's paved but steep, so i am afraid that wheelchair may not be accessible. actually it's just a cliff curved inward, with some mosses or dripping water, not impressive, not beautiful, you may skip it if you don't have enough time.

Short and easy
May 2019 • Solo
I’m glad there are trails that gain elevation that are still short so as to be accessible for more visitors. This one has a reward at the end yet won’t exhaust you or keep you from enjoying other hikes in a day.
Was sad observation and hidden canyon hikes from this same trailhead were closed.

Slippery when wet
Jul 2019
This was a net trail to hike. The rocks were weeping, but not boo-hooing. Rocks, when wet, are slippery, use railings and wear good shoes with tread. Take your time so not to fall.

Always wonderful to visit and photograph
Jul 2019
I love Weeping Rock and always end up taking 30 to 40 pictures because of the falling water. You can see the water falling down the cliff or stand in a recess behind the falling water and watch it "gently rain" before the blue sky. Seriously, it is worth the hike up the short but steep trail.

Short walk with stunning view
Aug 2019
It's an easy and short walk (wtih a steep very short section) to the weeping rock. At the end of the walk you'll have a chance to refresh yourself with the water dripping from the rocks above. It's a good and quick start to visit Zion.

Loved it!!
Jul 2019 • Family
What a beautiful hike. The vistas, colors, shapes of the canyon, ferns and moss growing out of rocks. We loved it.
The weeping is the fine mist dripping down through the rocks which last week in the upper 90’s was great.
This hike is great for all, it is short and has stairs instead of hiking a hill.

Short Hike with a Unique View
Jul 2019 • Couples
This hike is pretty short and easy, and it takes you up to the weeping rock, where water rains down and all kinds of plants are growing out of the rock. It was worth the time it took, and you can get some nice photos. It’s worth the time, especially if you haven’t done the Lower Emerald Pools, which has a similar weeping rock.

Several inclined portions

Nothing spectacular. This weeping rock hardly weeps compared to its name sake in the Glacier National Park that is gorgeous with colorful wild flowers on the trail and a captivating mountain vista across the road.

We would've liked to have more time here, but only had one day! We visited in March and it still was absolutely breathtaking. We plan to go back soon!
