The drive was such a plus to visiting Sequoia. The snow was melting and the rivers running. We saw wildlife! We did it at a relaxed pace. The river was something special, wish we could have gotten closer.

Beautiful views but the roads could be treacherous if during inclement weather. The upper part by Grant's Grove is much less curvy but still must be respected and taken slowly

While you want to do the trip quickly, please be aware that the hairpin turns on the drive to the park are very dangerous and many people drive like maniacs on those turns, so be aware of that. It might be worth taking more... More
