This is a fabulous hike! It is strenuous in places, but so beautiful. Just park right in the Newfoundland Gap parking lot. There is a decent restroom there. From there just head right out on the Appalachian Trail. You will go up up up! Go...More

Great hike-not too far from Sugarlands Visitor Center. You start the trail by walking the AT. In my opinion it wasn’t clearly marked, but I read a book that helped me along the way. The hike is pretty uphill, I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners!...More

I’ve already hiked Mt. LeCont, so I thought I could start checking off a few more hike boxes on the Appalachian Trail. Charlie’s Bunion is a little challenging, but the views from the top are absolutely worth it. You can see Mt. LeCont and the...More

Amazing hike. Words cant describe the views. Only one bad section on the way up from 0.5 miles in to 1.5 miles as your climbing uphill around the mountain and every one of the 5-6 blind curves makes you think this section is over. Get...More
