Have to give this another less than perfect score due to the fairly extreme hike. Moderately strenuous for most. Gorgeous at the top of 1.8 miles as the crow flies.

Nice hike, we want past the falls up the mountain. After pass falls some areas are leg burning. I was hoping for a huge waterfall. Not so. But is a nice walk.

We visited Laurel Falls on October 30 2018. The hike was pleasant and easy, and you a different but fantastic view of the fall colors in every step of the way! The Laurel Falls are impressive, about 20 meters tall divided by several sections. But...More

As most of the reviews have said, get there early if you want to park in the small lot next to the trail head. Otherwise, you will have to add at least another quarter mile to your hike finding a spot down the road. If...More

I don't know what it is about Kentucky but their idea of a waterfall and my idea of a waterfall are two vastly different things. This is a pretty strenuous hike it's over a mile and a half and it's up and down and around...More

We hiked this trail with two kids under the age of 1, a 1.5 year old, and two 3 year olds. It’s best to put the kids in some type of pack or carrier —- or wait until they are 6/7 when they can walk...More

This is a beautiful trail and we loved the waterfall!! Our kids enjoyed climbing the rocks all around the fall too! I do think the hike is a bit harder than "easy". The paved walkway made it easier, but it is an effort, so just...More

I suggest getting there very early because the parking fills up fast. I know that people often get there at sunrise to hike.
