You aren't really experiencing the Great Smoky Mountains without going on this drive. Beautiful scenic turnouts. River runs right along the road.

I highly recommend making this drive part of your trip. It's a one way road with steep hills, but it's so worth it. The sound of the rolling weather & nature as you drive through. We saw several bears on our drive. The speed limit...More

The first thing we did was roll down the windows as we made our way into the park. The fresh air, smell and sound of the streams and river, and the views made this one of my favorite parts of our trip.

We drove this road on the way and back from Cades Cove. There are great sites all along the road of the river and nice cascades or waterfalls to see along the roadside as well.

This is a really old question but Little River Road is a right turn off of Hwy 441S/Newfound Gap Road. It is about 2 miles from the Gatlinburg entrance. It runs in front of the Sugarland Visitor Center. Google Maps refers... More
