The Guano Point is in the West Rim of Grand Canyon National Park located in Arizona. The site is called Guano Point because this is where Guano (Bat Droppings) were mine out of the Grand Canyon

Nothing interesting compare to Eagle Point in Grand Canyaon West park. Since there is a shuttle bus linking from visitor carpark lot to Eagle point and here. Just to take in the view and enjoy the 60deg F weather

Overall I'm giving this review 3 stars, please continue to read as it does have a heartbreaking story.

The views of the canyon are amazing! We stayed at the cabins and watching sunrise and sunset were beautiful. They have two free walking trails one is a half a mile while the other is 1.7 miles. The cabins are nice but overpriced and they are not very clean nor do the rooms have a t.v.

The food and the famous hualapai taco is very basic. The fry bread is good but this taco with a drink is over $20. Food sucks bring your own if you decide to do. The room does provide a mini fridge and microwave.

If you go to Guano Point and the other hiking trail you need to buy a general admission ticket. You will then take a bus ride to both locations. Guano Point is worth it.

The Skyrim is the biggest ripoff since the start of inflation. DON'T DO IT! They only allow you out there for 2-3 mins and you cannot take your phone, however you can buy a photo. 8 photos for $50. This place is a tourist 🪤

Once we left, we stopped at a store about 30 miles away and there we learned the story behind the skywalk. An engineer from California told the hualapai that he could design the skywalk if he could get a percentage of the sales. They agreed, and once this thing was built the hualapai filed for bankruptcy and that man lost his entire life savings. He died young too, I think he was only 52. I guess he died from stress. During that time several of the Indians in this tribe made the comment that the engineer deserved it because he was white. So sad! We cannot control what our ancestors did so it's so ignorant to make a comment like that. The hualapai is about 2300 strong, in comparison they are the smallest, but also the most wealthy. They make about $1 million per day. Because of the story with the engineer I would never visit the Grand Canyon West Rim again, go to the South Rim.

Amazing views and lots of interesting stories about Grand Canyon. You can approach the edge pretty closely.
There is some rock climbing to the hill called Antel.
You have full panoramic views of the Western Rim. You can see Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon. You can spend an hour or more here just enjoying the beauty of nature.
Transportation by shuttle is pretty reliable.
There is a cafe, but is currently under renovations.

Nice point of view, kids loved to climb the hill.
the "problem" is that the area is so controled that you cant walk a lot. The "trail" is short, and as you cant walk anywhere on site, after 20 minutes MAX, youll be done.
Its nice because its near Vegas, but its kind of limited as a activity. If we had the choice, we would rater go to the sout-north rim.

Unbelievable views and you have the freedom to roam and take all the pictures you want. The views here are amazing and pictures don't do them justice. I would advise some caution when walking around as there is no safety rope or no staff here. It's in your hands how close to the edge you get. A must when visiting the Canyon.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience walking around this area, greatly enjoying the views of it. Be aware of the wind, sometimes it hits you caught you off guard, so don't underestimate nature's strength, less nowadays that people are more focused on the virtual world than in real life.

The views here are absolutely beautiful, I liked it better than the famous Skywalk. There are places to walk up the mountain to get some spectacular photos. Tables are available if you want to bag your lunch.

Guano Point was the most spectacular place to experience the Grand Canyon. Far less people than the South Rim and did not have the tourist trap vibe. There are no railings so caution must be used. We did not do the glass walkway as that got too many bad reviews.

We visited this attraction as part of an organized tour. This location affords more majestic views of the canyon than Eagle Point. There is an overlook that is a short walk over uneven ground that provides 360° views of the canyon.
Located here close to the shuttle stop are tables where Native craftsmen sell their wares.
