This was an amazing view as we drove out of the park. We got some final pics and like other overlooks, we saw a different and amazing view.

We did this hike last year (end of June 2017) during our vacation to South Dakota. When we drove up to this portion of the drive on the loop, we decided to stop. I am so glad we did. The hike itself was a little...More

My fifteen year old and ten year old did part of this trail. The fine gravel and steep grade made this a much more treacherous on the way down. Still got some good pics and had fun.

Trail is barely half a mile, but it is steep and curved. I was not expecting it to be as difficult as it was...but the view at the top is completely worth it.

Amazing view of the this beautiful landscape even when it was raining. During the fog, not so much. Can't wait to revisit Badlands NP.

We were up and down this 200 ft elevation fairly quickly. It is fairly steep and traction is poor at spots. Beautiful view and great place to visit. Badlands are fantastic. Don't miss it.

Yes, we brought our infant (carrying) 5,8,10-year-old here. The path is a little bit strenuous and if it is rainy or snowy it will be slippery but we had fun and mud washes off. My kids had a blast looking at the rocks and... More
