The hike to Bubble Rock is short, about 0.5 miles each way. Going to the rock is all uphill but there are many steps that have been built into the trail to make it fairly easy. The rock itself is very interesting, it's hard to...More

My 11 year old son and I hiked up South Bubble from Jordan Pond. While it wasn't too long, it was extremely steep and at several places you have to hoist yourself up by the arms to get to a ledge. It's rock scrambling/light climbing...More

This was a great short hike to see this wonder — the boulder that looks like it could roll off the cliff at any moment. Great photo spot and we enjoyed a quick picnic on the cliffs.

We first went up S. Bubble Trail which isn't too long or difficult of a hike. Anyone could do it so long they take it at their own pace. The views at the top were so worth it and seeing Bubble Rock was incredible (Bubble...More

This is part of the Bubbles hike. The hike itself has great views of surrounding area. You can go straight up the south face (which is difficult) or on a more moderate middle path. We have been to a lot of mountainous areas and this...More

Most guidebooks lead visitors to Bubble Rock via the Bubbles Divide and North Bubble Trails from the Bubble Rock parking area. If you’re looking for a more challenging (strenuous) half day adventure: start at the Jordan Pond House and take the Jordan Pond Path counter...More

Very well marked and wide trail but you should be in decent health and condition to climb. Go with a friend and take your time. A nice view at the top.

This was more strenuous than expected but worth it for the views, also fun to look down onto Jordan Lake then go down there and eat popovers

The trail can be steep at times, but it’s a fairly easy hike to the top. Once there, my kids had a blast trying to scare me by running up to the rock and leaning against it. It’s definitley a sight to see the enormous...More

Our family of four had a great time hiking to the top of South Bubble, North Bubble and to Bubble Rock. Not a difficult hike at all. I would just recommend parents keep an eye on smaller kids when taking pics at Bubble Rock.
