We found the staff friendly and very helpful. The facilities are clean and well laid out. Beware however if you can't do more than a few steps as there are 50 plus to get up to hill. I quickly got my passport stamped and purchased...More
We were surprised at how many steps there are to get up from the parking lot to the center. But we enjoyed the 15 minute movie about the park and getting some of our questions answered about trails we were interested in. They had some...More

We have visited at least a dozen US National Parks and I have to say that this one ranks at or very near the bottom in terms of what it has to offer. It has restrooms, a place to buy your pass, buy stuff in...More
We stopped by here early in the AM on our first day in Acadia and were surprised it was closed at 7 AM.
Not even the bathrooms were open!
When we came back after breakfast it was packed.
The rangers were very helpful and informative!...More
