Lovely walk from West Lulworth to Stair Hole on a quiet evening. Hardly anyone around. Lovely views of a kestrel hunting on the grassy area. Fascinating coastal landscape and good description of the geology on the sign. Nice and peaceful but probably best visited away...More

Lovely scenic feature next to Lulworth Cove and en-route to Durdle Dor, very popular for geology students/fans due to the rock formations, lovely spot

A good spot to fit in along with a visit to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. I’d recommend being on the viewpoint at sunset to see the sun go down over Chesil.

If you are visiting Lulworth cove this is easy walking distance from the car park, well worth it, for very littke effort, and the view of the cove is wonderful

You can make your way down onto the stony beach here but it is quite steap. The water rushes through the gaps in the rocks but not so that it is unsafe to swim (on a nice sunny day that is). I have seen it...More

Stair Hole is really part of Lulworth Cove as it is so close. Literally just about 500 yards from the Cove car park and whilst it is lovely, there are more impressive examples of rock formations and sea blow holes along the coast at Durdle...More
