this happened jan 3 2022 afternoon. the front desk charged my 8yo son as adult fee 150 for entrance fee instead of student rate 120 because I have no school ID to show despite i told her that i have his philippine passport and online school student. she insisted “no school ID so pay adult fee.”i did not want to argue so paid of what she asked for. i find this experience unpleasant and cheap. the ambiance of the museum was sophisticated and calm which are the exact opposite of the staffs.
the second strike was upon entering : this ticket girl insisted that we have to pay for the 4yo entrance fee. we told her that the height of the kid was up to the front desk and it was free according to the entrance fee counter. she let us in. but upon exit, she deliberately told the mother and held the child that she will measure the height this time and charge the kid for entrance. so we told her we will just pay no need to discuss more. my companion paid for the child just to give the ticket girl her peace of mind. this is the most terrible unexpected experience in an Art museum.
i hope the management will have time to talk to their staff and discuss good communication skills and rapport. terrible cheap and irrational

Never encountered so many rude people in one place, from the guard to the lady at the coffee shop to the cashier -- especially the cashier. Everybody just seemed too eager to say no to the customer like that's their job. When I handed my driver's license to the cashier and asked for a senior citizen's discount on the museum entrance fee, she said, in the dismissive tone that I've only seen in movies until now, that I wasn't yet entitled because I won't turn 60 until later in the year. She just turned her face away from me like she wasn't interested to listen as I told her that all the restaurants that I handed my driver's license to during this short trip of mine in Baguio gave me the discount (I didn't have a chance to tell her, but these included the restaurants in Casa Vallejo and Le Monet Hotel, Cafe at the Ruins, and Joseph's at the Laperal Mansion. People like these have no business being in a museum. A shame because the artwork on display is top notch and the garden a destination by itself.

It is a great place for art lovers to visit, it has a variety of art collections and art pieces. It has a nice garden and there is an oppportunity for eco-trail walk. The inside staff are accomodating, they would offer to have your pictures taken. However, the receptionist is unfriendly and unaccomodating, she answers queries rudely.

Have known this since I was a kid and Den Cabrera is the sponsor of our school in Asin Road , he would let us go inside of his house for free . I invited my friends to go and visit it ! We had a great time spending and looking around the arts and crafts . The view was so relaxing and the place itself ! They also sell foods inside which makes the visit more fun ! ✊🏻

I always adored museums and the BenCab museum didn’t disappoint. I took at least an hour going through each rooms and absorbing all the artwork featured. I would have loved trying out their cafe but I didn’t have much time. Perhaps on my next visit to Baguio.

I can't help but be amazed by the art pieces in the museum. Every painting is worth looking at. The entire place was very clean and well maintained. The staff were very accommodating. There was also this nice view of nature outside where you could relax for a while after a tour of the artworks.

A must-visit attraction when in Baguio, certainly one of the best museums we’ve been to.
Clean, well-thought various displays of paintings, drawings and sculptures highlighting not only the Philippine National Artist’s impeccable works but also showcasing a repository of beautiful insightful arts and cultural history depicting the Cordillera people.
Other displays includes works of other talented local artists.
A beautiful manicured garden and cafe with outdoor seating on the ground floor. Parking also available.
NB.
Student and Senior ID a must to avail special fee. Alternative ID as proof of age not acceptable. Liquids prohibited in the museum. No flash photography enforced.

Entrance fee was a bit pricey. There were many things to see inside though, apart from Ben Cab's artworks. Lots of different styles of art and woodwork.
