Don’t go unless it’s cherry blossom season, it’s a nice park but without the blossoms it wasn’t great. Close to a subway though!

Took the boat to cruise along the river. It was a hot day to wait in queue for the boat which comes free if you hold a one-day amazing Osaka pass. THe view was stunting though. Come early and maybe it will be more pleasant.

There is at least 4.5km of sakura on both sides of the river. It makes for a beautiful walk during the cherry blossom season and is far less crowded than the Osaka Castle park.
