Queen gate is definitely a new, improved shopping centre. Now that new shops have opened since the earthquake repairs have been done. Great variety of shops and a good selection of eateries on the middle level. All we need is the cinemas to be replaced....More

Just another mall and the reason for the death of High St shopping in Lower Hutt. I would rather have a nose bleed than go into this place.

If you need a one-stop-shop place then this is it. It's really the only shopping mall close to Wellington. Nothing special about any of the stores in the mall. There is a Countdown in the mall, too, so you can purchase goods and then groceries...More

If browsing get here early especially busy on Thursdays and Weekends....food court has a great variety of ethnic foods and Butlers has great tasting hot chocolate. Love the cars in the pavillion.
