There are only 2 Cheese Shops in Stanthorpe and this is one of them. The place is a mess. It looks more like a rubbish tip than a store. It needs a good clean up and some attention to detail. Brand new pizza ovens on...More

Went to a cheese making course and the guy read the recipe off the box! Known to buy Bega cheese when on special at IGA and repackage it as his own - so sad

Bruce was so enthusiastic and has great knowledge of wines, ports, meads, liquors and all things cheese. He also makes a great coffee and delicious scones. Yes his cellar door is disorganised but look past this and you will have a great time. He perhaps...More

Don't be put off by the look of the outside, go inside and take a look around. The building has a great history and the smoked cheese was delicious.

Interesting place some might describe as rustic. The port we sampled was excellent and we purchased a bottle. Not sure about the cheese though - not a cow in sight so a bit of a stretch to claim the status of a cheese factory!

Don't go to Severn Brae expecting to find a trendy expensive cellar door. The wines, cheeses, honey and tomato chilli sauce are excellent products at reasonable prices so there's no need for gimmicks of any kind. The place could be referred to as rustic or...More

Any port in a storm is the saying...I can very happily say that even though it was sunny outside (perfect Granite Belt weather) we went looking for cheese and found so much more. A quirky wine maker with stories to tell, a fantastic port and...More

Delicious red and white wine, port, mead and cheese served by the polite quirky wine maker. Well worth the visit.
