Easy parking and free entrance. I was sorry the gate to the stations of the cross were closed as I would have loved to see them. Gardens were beautifully kept. The church was old with lots of modern stained glass and other touches. Built of...More

What a beautiful place. The most icon stations of the cross I’ve ever come across. We wondered through the gardens to look at the art work. Would love to have had more time here. The church is beautiful. Peaceful. Really spectacular. Stain glass windows. Children...More

Lovely stone friary. Well worth seeing and walking the life like stations of the cross outside. Amazing.

An exceptional place to visit. Worth sitting there quietly & soaking up the 800/900 years of history & atmosphere.

Steeped in history, the Franciscan Friars have been here for 750 years. The restored abbey is beautiful in its simplicity. The gardens are wonderful and tranquil. Well worth a visit

We walked through the grounds of this lovely place one evening. The Stations of the Cross in the woods was lovely as was the entire grounds. It had a lovely peaceful feeling for everyone

We visited again and found the park, with its statues of the station of the cross, remains carefully maintained. Wheelchair accessible. A great place for a few moments quiet contemplation, and for some emotive photography.
