It has a train engine distributor arrangement for assigning a train engine to one of the 12 garages. The engine goes onto the platform which is then turned to align with one of the twelve garages for maintenance/ storage. Very popular with local students.

It's really close to the Zhanghua station. What you need to do is just walk to the place and see the historical place of trains. You can take a lot of good pictures at there, also having some good snacks around the place.

A historical building since 1922. This is the only one roundhouse preserved in Taiwan. You may find the historical steam locomotive CK124 and DT668 at the round house.

It's 20 minute from the railway station: take sanmin road on the lef going out of the station, walk 10 min and you see a BINGO so turn left pass under the walking tunnel and the garage is on the left.
