We had endless views of this, the highest peak in the Dhauladhar Range. Staying at Gandhi's Paradise allows this as all the rooms face this peak that peers at you through two smaller mountains. The peak is reportedly where Hanuman rested on his way while carrying the mountain to help Lakshman. But even without the myth, it is as capricious and enchanting as any peak. Clouds make it mysterious and when fresh snow whitens the peak further, it is indeed beautiful, especially in the moonlight.
