Don't forget to take the water taxi when you are there, as they have got guided tours telling you everything about the history of the lake. There are quite a number of small boutique hotels nearby. Also quite a lot of small shops and restaurants....More

pretty place to see. Cannot remember why it is called the Sun Moon lake, there are tribal people there performing there. If you are up for some fun, hou cab join them for dancing too!

The lake itself is quite pretty, but other than that the two towns on either side don't offer much, unless you like tacky souvenirs and adventurous dining options. We stayed for two nights and both days were over 36c and that sun was too hot...More
