For our experience, we got our viewing spot somewhere behind the Eslite Store, facing towards Taipei 101. It was quite a distance away from the building but we were able to get a full direct view without any trees or obstacles blocking. We arrived somewhere...More

Not the best pictures that I can share here - as it was raining and where we were, plenty of smoke from the fireworks - but it was still a great experience.

We got a spot at the Sun Yat Sen Memorial and watched the fireworks bursting from Taipei 101. It was one of the most incredible New Year's Eves of my life. Be forewarned, though, that you'll need an escape plan for afterwards. We didn't have...More

Heard so much of their amazing fireworks and just want to see it for myself! 3 hours of waiting, don't bother to take MRT, you walk! All these just for the 6 mins firework.. Worth it!

There's a couple of parties in the nearby hotels that you can attend (book early as they run out fast), we attended the Grand Hyatt New Year countdown which had unlimited drinks and snacks. This was an awesome compliment to the awesome views. Just prepare...More

One of the most beautiful fireworks on the planet! If you like fireworks, you won't be disappointed! Get ready for crowds though, millions of people will be out on that night.
